In the 20th match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Branco to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, SAS's Maoz Ferro threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cafu Mandrak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the SAS defense, Alexandre Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lúcio Rodrigues. The SAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúcio Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. Alexandre Pires hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Lúcio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Portela, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 41 minutes of play, FC Fura Balizas's Tiago Fraga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Fraga was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alexandre Pires made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Rodrigues. SAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Cafu Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu Mandrak couldn't finish the play. FC Fura Balizas's Maoz Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Mandrak in the 63rd minute of play. The FC Fura Balizas fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when FC Fura Balizas's Alexandre Pires looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Maia in the 74th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Maoz Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Tiago Fraga made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Rodrigues. If Cafu Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Alexandre Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Guarda in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Rodrigues saved SAS from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Fura Balizas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
