When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markus Lundström made a kick off. With his leg Fredrik Göransson managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Club Dep. Union Madereros's Elpidio Oinatz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Nemesio Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polar Ice Caps's Fredrik Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Sazon in the 90th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Romeo Afonso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fredrik Göransson. 98 minutes into the game, Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albino Maldonado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Club Dep. Union Madereros left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Polar Ice Caps.
