Astigar Blea charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astigar Blea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Overal Peru's Astigar Blea got a free kick in the 4th minute. Fonso Villagarcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ismael Nazario Serre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Nieves hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Overal Peru's Stamen Andonov got control of the ball when Christian Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stamen Andonov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Christian Baiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stamen Andonov. Overal Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Baiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ismael Nazario Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Czaplicki in the 22nd minute of the match. Ismael Nazario Serre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fonso Villagarcia went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 31 played minutes Overal Peru got a freekick which was hit by Endura Sufiria. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Overal Peru's goalie and right to Elói Aparecido. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Overal Peru's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 39 minutes into the match, Overal Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Peres came free, but Stamen Andonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Agostinho de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papunhas EC and the Overal Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agostinho de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Overal Peru got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Nieves. In the 46th minute, Christian Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

55 minutes into the game, Papunhas EC's Valdemar de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stamen Andonov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Overal Peru getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gavino Nieves hit a great ball. Papunhas EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Pinho in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute Valdemar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamen Andonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Nazario Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Czaplicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Oswaldo Prado hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Valdemar de Moraes sped through Overal Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stamen Andonov. In the 89th minute, Valdemar de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stamen Andonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar de Moraes in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamen Andonov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Papunhas EC's Telmo Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stamen Andonov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Papunhas EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
