An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Deput in the 45th minute of play forced Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper Christophe Pourre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rakkestad IF's Kai Sørdal got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
