Genaro Porfirio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Manos Tsakalidis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Fabricio Corderun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Damian Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Celestino Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miguel Godoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Transito was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Eriberto Honesto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo-Enrique Bochini went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After taking down the ball on Big Babousa's corner Genaro Porfirio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eriberto Honesto quite easily take care of the ball. Melchor Dorio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Eriberto Honesto, a very annoying self made goal in the 47th minute which led to 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Godoy in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Transito saved Big Babousa from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini came free, but Eriberto Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Big Babousa got a freekick which was hit by Nicolás Valentini. 1989 Blxsk's Luke De Kelper got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The 1989 Blxsk fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91stth minute of the game Miguel Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Big Babousa's Damian Transito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salvador Lizer charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Lizer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Damian Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Godoy in the 94th minute of the match. Damian Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Corderun in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see 1989 Blxsk lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
