In the 15th minute, Pavel Turoň ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Lekubegi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Hubert Verheijden dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Lekubegi, 2-0. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Turoň in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Vachon during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Pavel Turoň in the 25th minute really tested Enrique Lekubegi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hubert Verheijden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Enrique Lekubegi made a huge save. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Pio in the 29th minute of play. Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute Valentin Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Hubert Verheijden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Lekubegi. Hubert Verheijden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Hubert Verheijden might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Lekubegi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Verheijden ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hubert Verheijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Lekubegi made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hubert Verheijden sent off a good shot on target. Hubert Verheijden might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Lekubegi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Verheijden ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Verheijden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 51st match minute, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Turoň to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hubert Verheijden in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Lekubegi saved Palermo from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Pastor Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hubert Verheijden sped through Palermo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrique Lekubegi. Hubert Verheijden took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Lekubegi. Enrique Lekubegi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Enrique Lekubegi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hubert Verheijden went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Vito Bonito was substituted for Hubert Verheijden. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Dorian de Moraes was substituted for Pastor Pio. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Bonito, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palermo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
