Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Ekrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mats Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dan Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Vykans Vikingar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso was substituted for Hugo Eden. 62 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Revis came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Revis in the 63rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Soroca F.C.'s Marcus Ekrot threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Răzvan Necula, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Stål didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
