After 23 minutes istanbulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luca Langoni who took care of the corner kick. A sloppy throw-in by Haldun Özol in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by River Plate ® 9-12's Fang Zhan Ao. Rigoberto Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute, istanbulls's Zeng Chong Kang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rigoberto Bihar. Rigoberto Bihar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Muhammet Ökten hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Alp Enginalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Silvanito in the 42nd minute of play. Zeng Chong Kang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Bihar made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Silvanito in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göksel Canfeda saved istanbulls from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Placido Silvanito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. In the 57th minute of the game Nadir Yalvaç made a throw-in which Alp Enginalp played forward. Rigoberto Bihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Senna in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Jimeno. The corner ended in Luca Langoni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda did a great save. Placido Silvanito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Göksel Canfeda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. River Plate ® 9-12's Fang Zhan Ao got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda got control of the ball when Placido Silvanito tried to sneak it across the goal line. River Plate ® 9-12's Rigoberto Bihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Senna in the 80th minute of play. Placido Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Göksel Canfeda made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Placido Silvanito sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, River Plate ® 9-12's Cristian Christian got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, River Plate ® 9-12 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammet Ökten to maneuver through the defense.
