In the 5th minute of the match Loco De Remate got a corner. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Virila ran over to the corner to take the kick. Baškim Sumulikovski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 8th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Rene Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Aires in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 16th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rene Aires fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dep Colonia Avellaneda! Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Aires in the 26th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rene Aires sent off a good shot on target. In the 32ndth minute of the game Darryl Buckner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dep Colonia Avellaneda's zone, Rene Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Bernaldo came out of the goal and Rene Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baškim Sumulikovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 45th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darryl Buckner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Loco De Remate's Leandro Virila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Victoriano Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 61st minute of play. When Rene Aires came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Loco De Remate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Aires couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmir Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Pascual Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal was substituted for Rene Aires. Loco De Remate's Delmar Chumo was substituted for Bruno Medero. After a rather tough play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Pascual Lesardo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hıdır Namal might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hıdır Namal ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hıdır Namal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Hıdır Namal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Bernaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Delmar Chumo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hıdır Namal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Hıdır Namal came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Loco De Remate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hıdır Namal couldn't finish the play. Loco De Remate's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
