In the 7thth minute of the game Fred Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 minutes of play, WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Pascal Weiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! The long shot by Gabriel Périn in the 20th minute really tested Jake Leonard's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ringo Howard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Pascal Weiss having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss. Jean-Pascal Weiss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrice Gamet made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, gipsy kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Pèlerin to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 55th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by José Broutin in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini. WINNING ELEVEN's Patricio Ostadar got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Gabriel Périn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, gipsy kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Périn to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match, Patricio Ostadar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Julio Gomez replaced Neron Veterini. WINNING ELEVEN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andro Reiman in the 77th minute. The corner ended in Andro Reiman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Nilsson in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Pascal Weiss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84th play minutes Fred Nilsson shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Jean-Pascal Weiss and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Nilsson in the 88th minute of play forced gipsy kings's goalkeeper Jean-Pascal Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Fred Nilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jean-Pascal Weiss. The goal made the score 0-8. Fred Nilsson scored 0-9 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. WINNING ELEVEN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
