After a defensive mix-up in De Boedo Vengo's zone, Qu Yi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Charamut came out of the goal and Qu Yi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wawrzyniec Charamut was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Qu Yi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qu Yi in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Charamut saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. Sebastián Saja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Chwalkiewicz in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Kisielka was the one to do the kick off. De Boedo Vengo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
