The audience thought a goal was coming when Turgut Soyuer got free with Abelardo Maranhense in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The PREZULO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Ferreira should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the game, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 55th minute, Turgut Soyuer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Ferreirinha dos Santos with Ronny Åman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 59 minutes into the match, Turgut Soyuer notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense. Abelardo Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Turgut Soyuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Turgut Soyuer ran back to his position shaking his head.
