After 38 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Bernal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Bernal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Soin Buisan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Alvaro Raymond struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Valentin Bernal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Raymond to make the kick off.
