Vinicio Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 11th minute of play. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Eutor in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Bebben Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebben Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The the xeneise dream team fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when the xeneise dream team's Paolo Eutor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zacharias Siatzis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. the xeneise dream team's Vinicio Aires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save the xeneise dream team from getting a goal against them. Loco Durazno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Aires came out and tried to block the shot, but Loco Durazno slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goal looked a bit too open when Bebben Johansson came free, but Vinicio Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebben Johansson in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Aires saved the xeneise dream team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Anders Lundqvist made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Habil Castolo sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th match minute, the xeneise dream team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. Georg Termander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Aires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Habil Castolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the xeneise dream team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habil Castolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Aires saved the xeneise dream team from getting behind. Anders Lundqvist was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Habil Castolo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Habil Castolo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 81st minute Burç Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. the xeneise dream team made a substitution. Aquiles Mikolas replaced Habil Castolo.
