A wasted opportunity for Palestra do Interior. Palestra do Interior's Percival Cruz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guilherme Arana in the 5 minute of the game. Paulo Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barra Gøl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Galo na Veia FC™'s Barra Gøl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Galo na Veia FC™ from getting a goal against them. Barra Gøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Cruz in the 14th minute of the match. Barra Gøl came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Percival Cruz. But to his dismay, Percival Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galo na Veia FC™'s goalie prevented a goal. Barra Gøl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Godoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. After some careless play in the Galo na Veia FC™ defense, Paulo Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barra Gøl. The Galo na Veia FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barra Gøl should have stopped the shot. If Paulo Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Galo na Veia FC™'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Godoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 44th minute, Paulo Godoi fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Barra Gøl. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Palestra do Interior's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Haszczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Paulo Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Żurawski made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Galo na Veia FC™'s zone, Paulo Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barra Gøl came out of the goal and Paulo Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Palestra do Interior fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Palestra do Interior's Niclas Danielsson was substituted for Hudson Sergipano. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. After 73 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Haszczak. In the 74th minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavinho Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Vitório Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 85th minute, Vitório Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vitório Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galo na Veia FC™'s goalie prevented a goal. After 96 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Haszczak. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palestra do Interior had played much better football throughout.
