Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Abraham Laing made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Abraham Laing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Abraham Laing sped through C.A Costa Azul's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximo Lauro. David Trezeguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dean Watts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Louis in the 13th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, C.A Costa Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Laing came free, but Maximo Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Trezeguet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dean Watts made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Laing in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Lauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ed Mckinley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abraham Laing came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Amputees FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Laing couldn't finish the play. In the 40thth minute of the game Abraham Laing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Costa Azul's Maximo Lauro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Abraham Laing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amputees FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Laing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Laing in the 47th minute of play forced C.A Costa Azul's goalkeeper Maximo Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Amputees FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dean Watts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Abraham Laing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, C.A Costa Azul's Maximo Lauro got control of the ball when Abraham Laing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Laing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Lauro having to interfere. If Arturo Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Laing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amputees FC's Arne Gronow pulled a muscle in his back after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Higinio Dacio fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A Costa Azul's protests and gave Higinio Dacio a yellow card for diving instead. Amputees FC made a substitution. Calvin Fynn replaced Arne Gronow. After a rather tough play, C.A Costa Azul's Higinio Dacio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Maximo Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Laing in the 83rd minute of the match. Ed Mckinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Lauro having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Fynn to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes C.A Costa Azul got a freekick which was hit by Federico Palben. Ed Mckinley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Maximo Lauro made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Amputees FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
