The supporters of ARAUCARIA FC booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Benigno Su got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Lukács Madaras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Arruda was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sosoco FC's Gonçalo Queiroz got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Hilbert Lyvang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geovanni Soeiro made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ARAUCARIA FC's Jardel Corrêa. Amador Weather hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Enio Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oséias Fantini. ARAUCARIA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enio Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Sosoco FC's Giuseppe Barreto in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ARAUCARIA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benigno Su received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Diamantino Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sosoco FC's Luís Guilherme Carvalho got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Lukács Madaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sosoco FC booed when ARAUCARIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséias Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Diamantino Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukács Madaras's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Enio Azevedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oséias Fantini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edmílson Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Oséias Fantini made a huge save.
