The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan-Carlos Calvete during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Mark Kevad came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Halte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Kevad couldn't finish the play. Martti Kingisepp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Estacio Ribacoba made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Sastrias in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Halte's goalkeeper Maarek Remme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estacio Ribacoba made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Martti Kingisepp sent off a good shot on target. When Martti Kingisepp, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Estacio Ribacoba was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aivo Lossmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Halte getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Heldur Tihumets hit a great ball. Haarald Noobel lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a defensive mix-up in FC Halte's zone, Vincente Biñayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maarek Remme came out of the goal and Vincente Biñayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, FC Halte's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Sastrias came free, but Maarek Remme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maarek Remme made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Carnero Urbistondo sent off a good shot on target. Martti Kingisepp took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Estacio Ribacoba. Estacio Ribacoba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mark Kevad scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Estacio Ribacoba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Hualcumbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martti Kingisepp came free, but Estacio Ribacoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hualcumbo FC's zone, Martti Kingisepp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estacio Ribacoba came out of the goal and Martti Kingisepp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estacio Ribacoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martti Kingisepp's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Carnero Urbistondo scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maarek Remme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mark Kevad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute Martti Kingisepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estacio Ribacoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martti Kingisepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Halte's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
