Lynnbury's Beag Lavine quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lynnbury's Teris Rogers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Lynnbury from getting a goal against them. Jaroslaw Sroki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Teris Rogers made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dawayne Silke during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, Ognica's Jaroslaw Moizuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teris Rogers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 39th minute Aureliusz Galus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teris Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 47th minute of the match Dawayne Silke completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dawayne Silke a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dawayne Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braoin Beckett was the one to do the kick off. Teris Rogers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Sroki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Wyrostek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Teris Rogers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teris Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Galus in the 64th minute of play. Donn Dunne hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Lynnbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sheridan Todd to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jaroslaw Moizuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ognica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaroslaw Moizuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teris Rogers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Lynnbury's Donn Dunne seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Donn Dunne the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lynnbury protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Donn Dunne had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lynnbury! 74 minutes into the game, Ognica's Jerzy Wodaszak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teris Rogers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. The Ognica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Aureliusz Galus took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teris Rogers. Teris Rogers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. After some careless play in the Lynnbury defense, Jaroslaw Sroki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teris Rogers. The Lynnbury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teris Rogers should have stopped the shot. Teris Rogers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Wyrostek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lynnbury's Teris Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Galus in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ognica fully deserved thier win.
