The tension between the Birkholms Gæve Gangere and the Hook players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Birkholms Gæve Gangere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thue Mürsch to maneuver through the defense. Richard Vinterfog hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Nour Thawban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Munkslev in the 40th minute of the match. Hook's Nour Thawban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Vinterfog in the 43rd minute of play. Wasil Idris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Stig Polerube when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig Polerube saved Birkholms Gæve Gangere from getting behind. Yamen Abou Jisser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Polerube having to interfere. The Hook players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Birkholms Gæve Gangere were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdul Jabbar Abdul Tawwab to make the kick off. Nour Thawban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Munkslev in the 52nd minute of play. Nour Thawban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Vinterfog, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yamen Abou Jisser in the 90th minute of play forced Birkholms Gæve Gangere's goalkeeper Stig Polerube to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
