Justo Distiratsu was a little too slow when Murilo Paes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19th minute Roque Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Cachilo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cachilo FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Salvador Cai hit a great ball. Wellington Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Bastiaro in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Mingo in the 33rd minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Wellington Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Sarmento. 47 minutes into the match, Cachilo FC's goalkeeper Justo Distiratsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Cordeiro. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Daniel Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Mingo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Wellington Baiano made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Cordeiro in the 56th minute of play forced Cachilo FC's goalkeeper Justo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekzema F.V.'s Wellington Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ekzema F.V. from getting a goal against them. Sílvio Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute of the match, Horacio Mingo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wellington Baiano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With an all-out effort, Cachilo FC's Wellington Baiano threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roque Nesor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Ekzema F.V.'s Duda Lago seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Duda Lago the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ekzema F.V. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Duda Lago had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ekzema F.V. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Wellington Baiano had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Alejo Deunoro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Ekzema F.V. defense, Alejo Deunoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Baiano. The Ekzema F.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Baiano should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Mingo got free with Wellington Baiano in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wellington Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Sílvio Cordeiro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cachilo FC's Justo Distiratsu. Justo Distiratsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wellington Baiano was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Antonio Bastiaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonio Bastiaro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 85 minutes, Roque Nesor made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ekzema F.V.'s Wellington Baiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wellington Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Bastiaro in the 89th minute of the match.
