The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Holger Mattsson. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Malm came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Valentín Perales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolgahan Onatkan in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Holger Mattsson threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jens-Ove Malm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute Tolgahan Onatkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolgahan Onatkan in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Murilo Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Brito to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Marcos Siqueira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Holger Mattsson. Marcos Siqueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Holger Mattsson came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan. But to his dismay, Tolgahan Onatkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Hummerfiskarna's zone, Tolgahan Onatkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Mattsson came out of the goal and Tolgahan Onatkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Tolgahan Onatkan made a precise shot to the right of Holger Mattsson. Hummerfiskarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 63rd match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Malm to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hummerfiskarna getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rickard Malmström hit a great ball. Hummerfiskarna made a substitution. Bennvar Maradona replaced Rickard Malmström. Hummerfiskarna's Bolli Bolla was substituted for Conrado Olayo. 73 minutes into the game, Tolgahan Onatkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Holger Mattsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Tolgahan Onatkan came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Siqueira in the 80th minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira in 80 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Holger Mattsson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Thiago Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murilo Brito hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ had played much better football throughout.
