David Lundgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauro Acebal went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gaspard Izquierdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but David Lundgren made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Ejvind Haversen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redbull Sala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some careless play in the Redbull Sala defense, Gaspard Izquierdo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Lundgren. The Redbull Sala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Lundgren should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Collins in the 33rd minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspard Izquierdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Lundgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspard Izquierdo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Acebal in the 43rd minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Ahto Ylipikk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 52nd match minute, Atletico Aragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Fano to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Bezerra in the 54th minute of play. Ejvind Haversen took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haitz Langarica. Haitz Langarica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Haitz Langarica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ejvind Haversen in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Lauro Acebal made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Redbull Sala's David Lundgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Taranco. 71 minutes in the game, Ejvind Haversen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Haitz Langarica having to interfere. Haitz Langarica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Bezerra in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Redbull Sala got a corner. Atletico Aragua FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Alberto Bezerra ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Redbull Sala's Ejvind Haversen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gaspard Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. David Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Acebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Ahto Ylipikk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspard Izquierdo in the 96th minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
