Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferid Eker in the 11th minute of the match. Miguel Savion hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Zico Galo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Velho Barreiro FC got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 25th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Hidalgo stood somewhat misplaced when Emílio Terra came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. Zico Galo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Edmond Verdun 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Hidalgo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
