Erhan İren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, John Ryberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's supporters rose to their feet, but John Ryberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Verdun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erhan İren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Terra in the 43rd minute of play. Edmond Verdun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Loi went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Errecaborda AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joe Tate made a kick off. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Hake, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Guib in the 65th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Emílio Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Errecaborda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy made a substitution. Raul Rito replaced Gunnar Hake. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Alvaro Raymond was substituted for Americo Suero. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 77th minute of play.
