In the 10th minute, José Sand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Verdun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Joe Tate got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nilson Peres made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Pastor Ado sent off a good shot on target. Nilson Peres came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado. But to his dismay, Pastor Ado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Sand took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 29 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's José Sand made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmond Verdun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilson Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Tate's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Sand in the 34th minute of the match. José Sand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, José Sand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. ITAFUT 4EVER's Robert Arboleda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Clemente Silviano, made in the 40th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Sand was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, José Sand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Edmond Verdun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Sand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Verdun having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Sand got free with Edmond Verdun in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Edmond Verdun throw himself and got hold of the ball when José Sand in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. João Vítor Porto replaced Evelio Rico. Flavius Postelnicescu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun got control of the ball when Jean-Paul Møffelmand tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Isidro Gines replaced Emílio Terra. Edmond Verdun stood somewhat misplaced when Jardel Baggio came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Errecaborda AFC from getting a goal against them. When the match was over ITAFUT 4EVER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Errecaborda AFC throughout the match.
