The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Tipinski in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Niebiański&Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gervásio Severiano came free, but Rüştü Rencber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Niebiański&Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim de Barros came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rüştü Rencber could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Niebiański&Team's Ulf Johansson got a free kick in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antoni Tipinski during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antoni Tipinski hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Niebiański&Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerzy Gorgoń in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Niebiański&Team got a freekick which was hit by Walery Majorski. 33 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüştü Rencber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The throw-in from Mattias Jonasson in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Niebiański&Team's Walery Majorski. In the 38th minute, Antoni Tipinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rüştü Rencber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Braga in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute Antoni Tipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim de Barros made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Rencber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Antoni Tipinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 56th minute of play forced Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Niebiański&Team's Antoni Tipinski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Gervásio Severiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rüştü Rencber was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Tipinski in the 74th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Tipinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Braga in the 80th minute of play forced Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Antoni Tipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rüştü Rencber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 85th minute of the match. Rüştü Rencber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Rencber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Mattias Jonasson with Gervásio Severiano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gervásio Severiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervásio Severiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüştü Rencber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wieslaw Munko hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VB-Team succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Niebiański&Team had controlled the match.
