The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Zjem Cię's Cyprian Cwojdak got a free kick in the 8th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Napoleon Jajko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Wojtyna in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Czeslaw Pawlak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko got control of the ball when Karol Biskupiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mateo Palacio came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Zjem Cię fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Palacio couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Zjem Cię was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Cichowski to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basiel Henrix got free with Napoleon Jajko in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Napoleon Jajko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karol Biskupiak in the 32nd minute. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Palacio in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Mateo Palacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Arendarski. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Palacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Damazy Turok's late challenge caught a Zjem Cię's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damazy Turok helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Damazy Turok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zjem Cię's Ciriaco Emenon was substituted for Tolek Wojtyna. In the 50th minute of the match Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a corner. Zjem Cię's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basiel Henrix ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's corner Ömür Seyfeddin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Napoleon Jajko quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Zjem Cię were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Palacio was the one to do the kick off. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Kon in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Mateo Palacio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Arendarski. Mateo Palacio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Emenon in the 65th minute of play. Mateo Palacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Arendarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Zjem Cię made a substitution. Murillo Cedeno replaced Iwo Cwynar. Zjem Cię were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manfred Hönisch took the corner. The corner led Zjem Cię's Manfred Hönisch to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabian Arendarski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Karol Biskupiak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Patryk Zukowski was substituted for Karol Biskupiak. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Duran Mukerrem replaced Roman Kon. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zjem Cię the free kick. In the 99thth minute of the game Duran Mukerrem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
