Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Astafei in the 15th minute of the match. After 31 minutes NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remus Astafei who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Prospero Maria heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Gavino Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudinho Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolas Sayvion showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
