Cecilio Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Tello in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Azzurri FC's Thaddeus Ryan was substituted for Rosario Cardona. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Long Ying Qiang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Thaddeus Ryan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Ortle. PAOK B's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thaddeus Ryan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match was over Azzurri FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PAOK B throughout the match.
