Mădălin Bănățeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Ianculescu in the 4th minute of the match. Cosmin Hațegan made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Stelian Mitruț sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th match minute, Ageamiii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Răducanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Stelian Mitruț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmin Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.S. United Buzau's Mădălin Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Ianculescu in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aurel Ianculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mădălin Bănățeanu was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Aurel Ianculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. A very good chance. In the 30th minute of the match Andrei Dima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mădălin Bănățeanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, S.S. United Buzau's Viorel Covataru got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Aurel Ianculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mădălin Bănățeanu was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When Valeriu Vancea came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ageamiii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Vancea couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, S.S. United Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Ianculescu came free, but Mădălin Bănățeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ageamiii were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after S.S. United Buzau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valeriu Vancea took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Valeriu Vancea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mădălin Bănățeanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurel Ianculescu to make the kick off. Dacian Cândea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Mădălin Bănățeanu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dacian Cândea got free with Mădălin Bănățeanu in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S.S. United Buzau's Mădălin Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Ianculescu in the 65th minute of play. Cosmin Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Mitruț in the 67th minute of play. Mădălin Bănățeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Ianculescu in the 69th minute. Dacian Cândea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mădălin Bănățeanu having to make a save. After some careless play in the S.S. United Buzau defense, Aurel Ianculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Bănățeanu. The S.S. United Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Bănățeanu should have stopped the shot. Dacian Cândea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Aurel Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Bănățeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ageamiii's Mădălin Bănățeanu threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valeriu Vancea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mădălin Bănățeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Ianculescu's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Ianculescu in the 85th minute of play forced S.S. United Buzau's goalkeeper Mădălin Bănățeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Cândea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mădălin Bănățeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mădălin Bănățeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Răducanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th play minute Aurel Ianculescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mădălin Bănățeanu. 0-5. When the match was over Ageamiii could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.S. United Buzau throughout the match.
