The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Buffalo Timişoara were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after De Boedo Vengo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orhan Ortanca took the corner. A hard shot 5 in the game by Franky Ooms from a close distance when the talented Jon Hagström managed to make a qualified save. De Boedo Vengo's players were relieved. After 13 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Kemen. In the 17th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Jobo to maneuver through the defense. When Orhan Ortanca came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Ortanca couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Adrian Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Franky Ooms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Hagström was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Franky Ooms lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jon Hagström. Jon Hagström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Jon Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Ooms in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Cibran. With his leg Jon Hagström managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jon Hagström came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms. But to his dismay, Franky Ooms quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. De Boedo Vengo's Jon Hagström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Buffalo Timişoara's Orhan Ortanca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jon Hagström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Franky Ooms could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jon Hagström made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Benitez in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Hagström saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. Buffalo Timişoara were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after De Boedo Vengo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orhan Ortanca took the corner.

51 minutes into the game, Lázaro Cordarius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Hunor Csapó was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Hagström having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Fertus came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Hagström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Benitez went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. De Boedo Vengo's Jon Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Benitez in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Buffalo Timişoara were awarded a corner. Orhan Ortanca went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms to fire away a dangerous shot which Jon Hagström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jon Hagström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franky Ooms in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jon Hagström came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms. But to his dismay, Franky Ooms quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Buffalo Timişoara's Alin Şantău was substituted for Vali Voicescu. 79 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Jon Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hunor Csapó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Cordarius in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Zbora in the 84th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Jon Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Benitez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Benitez came free, but Jon Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Buffalo Timişoara fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 91 minutes of play, De Boedo Vengo's Lázaro Cordarius made it 9-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hunor Csapó was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobaldo Fertus was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
