With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anoush Khalatbari in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans van der Meijde saved Real Chelsea from getting behind. The corner ended in Farshid Nateghi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Chelsea's Hans van der Meijde did a great save. The supporters of Iran booed when Real Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin Oldham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Chelsea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
