The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvano Palban was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Pero charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Guilherme Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Silvano Palban spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal. If Keenan Worthington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Smiley in the 67th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keenan Worthington got free with Fidel Tadzio in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
