After 8 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Brion. With 10 minutes on the clock, Raimundo Domingues commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Falconara Albanese! The referee gave Club El Progreso a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cayetano Brion, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Falconara Albanese's Osvaldo Vergaray. 0-1. In the 18th minute of the game Cayetano Brion made a throw-in which Bruno Maxin played forward. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Alvaro Osmundo with Bruno Maxin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 정 만 took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Vergaray. Osvaldo Vergaray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Osvaldo Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 정 만, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute 정 만 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Maxin came free, but Osvaldo Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Artemio Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Rojo's late challenge caught a Falconara Albanese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elano Rojo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Falconara Albanese booed when Club El Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Rojo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes, Alvaro Osmundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club El Progreso and the Falconara Albanese players grew even worse after the yellow card. Javier Milei made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ricardo Tab sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Bruno Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Javier Milei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Gergori. After 43 played minutes Falconara Albanese got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Tab. In the 45th minute of the match Elano Rojo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Vergaray showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ricardo Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Club El Progreso were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Tab made a kick off. The throw-in from Alvaro Osmundo in the 50th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Falconara Albanese's Jacinto Sanson. In the 51st minute Ricardo Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Milei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Falconara Albanese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Manex to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Delfim Cordobé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falconara Albanese made a substitution. Gavino Quintun replaced Miguel Lehoi. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Alvaro Osmundo with Bruno Maxin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ricardo Tab's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Milei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Ricardo Tab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Vergaray made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Delfim Cordobé sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Tab came free, but Javier Milei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Tab in the 80th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Javier Milei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Cordobé succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 86th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 정 만 in the 89th minute of play forced Falconara Albanese's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club El Progreso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
