But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anana Wally couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Racing Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! After the first half よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Strand made a kick off. In the 51st minute Ingvar Strand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Zaremba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amado Chinto was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. Amado Chinto made a great header on Racing Club's corner, it was just that よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Damian Zaremba managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anana Wally in the 55th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Juan Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Erubiel Santio with Enzo Fernandes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 76th minute Eurelijus Sutkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Zaremba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Eurelijus Sutkus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Zaremba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Seme should have stopped the shot. Damian Zaremba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurelijus Sutkus in the 93rd minute of play. Dieter Van De Wijngaert kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Christian Proença scored 1-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Seme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
