The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Harriet was the one to do the kick off. Elpidio Beat was a little too slow when Wilfredo Gitano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 82nd minute of play forced 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalkeeper Elpidio Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalie and right to Wilfredo Gitano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
