The supporters of Ilulea FC booed when AKDmicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Zawaski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Mederi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrzej Zawaski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ilulea FC's Andy Turner got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bantry Gollogley made a kick off. Angelino Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ilulea FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Vasco was slow to take the kick. During this time AKDmicos FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Lixandro in the 53rd minute of play forced Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Angelino Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Mederi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. AKDmicos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
