In the 30th minute Astor Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Volpi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Amboy FC from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the game, Marcinho Goiano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Amboy FC's Romulo Bernebe quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Simon Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gustavo Bernebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Casomiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
