Thiago Volpi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nejat Özoğuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Simon Brun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edoardo Proietti came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Brun slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 30th minute. Simon Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Edoardo Proietti made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Edoardo Proietti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Brun. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.S.C. NAPOLI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcinho Goiano was slow to take the kick. During this time Tabossi's players had a chance to rest. In the 45th minute, Simon Brun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Simon Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Proietti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tabossi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Tabossi made a substitution. Tadeo Eneas replaced Leonel Marin. Emilio Fioriti hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Nejat Özoğuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Pallini came free, but Thiago Volpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
