The referee ignored Club El Progreso's protests and gave Baldomero Salomon a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Fernanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Furtado went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Higinio Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute Pascual Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, AKDmicos FC's goalkeeper Andres Erramun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Gomesano. AKDmicos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club El Progreso the free kick. After a rather tough play, AKDmicos FC's Siro Firme got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Ignacio Ebere made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Oton came free, but Higinio Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AKDmicos FC's Eustaquio Chepe was substituted for Narciso Azubeli. Teobaldo Godoy hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Chepe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 78th playminute. Higinio Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
