An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Fidensio in the 65th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Lino Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Fidensio in the 76th minute of play. Racing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Celedonio Fidensio scored to the left of an out of position Lino Salvator, making the score, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Celedonio Endira got a free kick in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Alvaro Oxarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Salvator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match 25 de Abril Futbol Club got a corner. Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florentino Nel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on 25 de Abril Futbol Club's corner Nemesio Bernat fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lino Salvator quite easily take care of the ball. The Racing Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching 25 de Abril Futbol Club's performance. The match ended with a win for 25 de Abril Futbol Club.
