Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Pereyra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Siro Gimenez took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Salvator. Lino Salvator dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Celedonio Endira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Santxol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prospero Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Santxol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Celedonio Endira came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Endira couldn't finish the play. In the 30th match minute, C.A.M.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. Celedonio Endira struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alejandro Santxol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. After having played for 43 minutes, Siro Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.M.P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Gimenez in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Salvator saved Racing Club from getting behind. Racing Club's Lino Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Peru in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Club's Celedonio Endira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alejandro Santxol. That made the score 3-1 after 59 minutes of play. Alejandro Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Gimenez took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Salvator. Lino Salvator dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Siro Gimenez took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Salvator. Lino Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, C.A.M.P's Fermin Bixintxo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Prospero Urtsin scored 5-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Santxol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Prospero Urtsin fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Prospero Urtsin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A.M.P booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Astrada in the 84th minute of the match. Jimeno Astrada succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. Wilfredo Gilabert hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Siro Gimenez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Lino Salvator was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A.M.P fully deserved thier win.
