The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Robert Oštraković was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Chorchoj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JuSi Malacky the free kick. In the 11th minute Alan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Jian Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pane Boze in the 15th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ant Man in the 18th minute of play. If Ant Man had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Chorchoj were furious when Robert Oštraković was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Chorchoj's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ant Man was slow to take the kick. During this time JuSi Malacky's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Shearer in the 24th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaapo Velikiy made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Vic Angelsø sent off a good shot on target. JuSi Malacky's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ant Man in the 28th minute. Lino Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. JuSi Malacky's Ant Man got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Shearer came free, but Zheng Jian Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zheng Jian Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buba Huba in the 34th minute of the match. Zheng Jian Yi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ant Man went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zheng Jian Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buba Huba in the 42nd minute of play. When JuSi Malacky's Alan Shearer in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Chorchoj's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alois Selinger during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Chorchoj getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alois Selinger hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, JuSi Malacky's Fabian Baristo got a free kick in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ant Man in the 59th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to JuSi Malacky's Michal Bada getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alois Selinger hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Vic Angelsø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kaapo Velikiy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zheng Jian Yi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ant Man in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Andre Præstvang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Jian Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ant Man got free with Zheng Jian Yi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vic Angelsø in the 86th minute of play forced JuSi Malacky's goalkeeper Kaapo Velikiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Rafa Furman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, JuSi Malacky's Ant Man got a free kick in the 90th minute. FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Furman in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Alois Selinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The JuSi Malacky supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JuSi Malacky would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
