The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derlis Florentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawid Ratulowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Restat in the 10th minute of the match. FERRABARCA FC's Hermengildo Trianes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FERRABARCA FC from getting a goal against them. Maximo Villamarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Trianes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Sebastian Montoya hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Maximo Villamarin scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermengildo Trianes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Villamarin in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Trianes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Maximo Villamarin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Trianes was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Trianes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Villamarin. After 42 played minutes FERRABARCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Pan Qiang Ran. Hermengildo Trianes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Villamarin made a kick off. In the 54th minute, FERRABARCA FC's Hernán Restat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dawid Ratulowski. Dawid Ratulowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dawid Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Răducanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Derlis Florentin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Restat in the 64th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Reign made a substitution. Xosepe Villamizar replaced Derlis Florentin. Cornel Răducanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dawid Ratulowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hermengildo Trianes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xosepe Villamizar went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Villamarin in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Trianes saved FERRABARCA FC from getting behind. Hermengildo Trianes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Maximo Villamarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Reign fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The Red Reign players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
