Tomas Refugio was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Arturo Ranolfo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Ranolfo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 13th minute of the match Yaji FC got a corner. Tacheros OFF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Ranolfo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Arturo Ranolfo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tacheros OFF's Tomas Refugio did a great save. If Arturo Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute of the match, Arturo Ranolfo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomas Refugio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Christian Najarro's late challenge caught a Yaji FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Najarro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tacheros OFF's Christian Najarro got a free kick in the 19th minute. Yao Guang Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joona Peltomaa in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arturo Ranolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Refugio was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Joona Peltomaa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Yao Guang Chao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacheros OFF. Tomas Refugio was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Arturo Ranolfo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Ranolfo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jan-Ove Tunander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Arturo Ranolfo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Refugio. Tacheros OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Ranolfo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ladislao Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaji FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arturo Ranolfo in the 43rd minute. Yaji FC's Arturo Ranolfo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Refugio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 46 minutes, Arturo Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaji FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao got control of the ball when Faustão Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yao Guang Chao made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Mattin Solbeida sent off a good shot on target. Ladislao Tximitx kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A hard shot by Jan-Ove Tunander from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Yao Guang Chao's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Giovani Mattos got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jan-Ove Tunander, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tomas Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Ziemba in the 76th minute of play. In the 88th minute Ladislao Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tacheros OFF defense, Kryspin Ziemba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Refugio. The Tacheros OFF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Refugio should have stopped the shot. Kryspin Ziemba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kryspin Ziemba hit a great ball. Many of Tacheros OFF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tacheros OFF may have spent more time on the ball, but Yaji FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
