Rui Santos came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimeno Isaio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 44th minute. In the 49th minute Domingos Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Jacobo Abechuco made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Atlético Zelaya got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Gombal. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Isaio came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Isaio in the 62nd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Jacobo Abechuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 83 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Isaio came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Gombal kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Sal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Gaur was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Atlético Zelaya were awarded a corner. Alonzo Sal went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alonzo Sal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Amigos Futbol Klub's Freddy Gaur did a great save. In the 89th minute, Isidoro Gitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Zelaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Amigos Futbol Klub's Freddy Gaur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Amigos Futbol Klub from getting a goal against them. Slawomir Walkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Eduardo Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amigos Futbol Klub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Oroitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlético Zelaya had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
