After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jerzy Mitus managed to get in a good position for a shot. lapollarecord's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Mitus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, lapollarecord's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Abechuco came free, but Luciano Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Alonzo Sal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Zelaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Atlético Zelaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Moise to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Alonzo Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Isidoro Gitano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of lapollarecord's Luciano Omero. Luciano Omero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Alonzo Sal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 38th minute Alonzo Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to lapollarecord getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Epifanio Otoniel hit a great ball. Jacobo Abechuco scored 0-5 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Omero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luciano Omero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciriaco Cebrian to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Sal got free with Luciano Omero in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luciano Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Abechuco in the 54th minute of play. The corner ended in Alonzo Sal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but lapollarecord's Luciano Omero did a great save. 61 minutes into the match, lapollarecord's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Sal came free, but Luciano Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Omero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, lapollarecord's goalkeeper Luciano Omero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Gitano. Atlético Zelaya were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
