The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mārtiņs Racinss during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, FK Tuminy's Nikolajs Vainis tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Freddie Hökqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Silapriede in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Lassens's goalkeeper Koppány Török to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modris Spiridovics showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobri Kolyovski in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Lucas Vester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modris Spiridovics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FK Tuminy defense, Dobri Kolyovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modris Spiridovics. The FK Tuminy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modris Spiridovics should have stopped the shot. The supporters of FC Lassens booed when FK Tuminy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristiāns Takeris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dobri Kolyovski scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modris Spiridovics, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Lassens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.
