The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Perviz Mahmudov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willy Furrer in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Naxçıvan FK got a freekick which was hit by Pänah Abudova. 12 minutes into the match, Naxçıvan FK's Kamandar Güläliyev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanislaw Besmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stanislaw Besmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kamandar Güläliyev went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute of the match Vasma Balamämmädov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislaw Besmer skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintus Huber got free with Perviz Mahmudov in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Stössel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Perviz Mahmudov. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Rüfät Häşimov hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Kamandar Güläliyev kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Naxçıvan FK's Perviz Mahmudov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintus Huber in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Gaston Stössel took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Perviz Mahmudov to make any attempt to save it. Willy Furrer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Stössel to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Henziross in the 52nd minute of play forced Naxçıvan FK's goalkeeper Perviz Mahmudov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naxçıvan FK's Perviz Mahmudov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Henziross in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Fäxri Qädimov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Duerr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Willy Furrer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in Findelen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute, Tiberio Chassot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Findelen's goalkeeper Stanislaw Besmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fäxri Qädimov. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Stanislaw Besmer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 74th minute, Vilayät Baxşiyev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Stössel in the 75th minute of play forced Naxçıvan FK's goalkeeper Perviz Mahmudov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Stössel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perviz Mahmudov having to interfere. The supporters of Naxçıvan FK booed when Findelen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Stössel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perviz Mahmudov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Duerr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perviz Mahmudov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Henziross, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Gaston Stössel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naxçıvan FK's Perviz Mahmudov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st match minute, Findelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintus Huber to maneuver through the defense. Perviz Mahmudov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Stössel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Naxçıvan FK defense, Quintus Huber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perviz Mahmudov. The Naxçıvan FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perviz Mahmudov should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Findelen fully deserved thier win.
